Casey E. Doyle, MS
Founder, Nourish Our World
I’m Casey E. Doyle—an environmental conservationist and sustainable food systems scientist with a Master of Science in Sustainable Food Systems and 20+ years of hands-on growing. I help home gardeners and farms of all sizes across New England grow more food with clear, science-based guidance that works with nature, not against it.
What I Believe
Nature is productive—and a little chaotic. I lean into that. My approach stacks functions (permaculture), protects biodiversity, and favors no-till, deep mulches/Ruth Stout methods, organic fertilizers only, and peat-conserving substrate options. I maintain a non-GMO stance and focus on practical steps that build healthy soil, resilient plants, and steadier harvests.
I don’t force landscapes to fit a blueprint. I tune systems to how your site actually behaves.
What I Do
-
Consulting (virtual & on-site): Site-specific plans for beds and other containers, soil health and amendments, irrigation/water budgeting, microclimates, permaculture elements, and wildlife (pest) management.
-
Orchard & Perennial Assessment: Pruning calendars and structure for berries and fruit trees; floor-management options; heirloom/variety guidance.
-
Garden Sitting & Seasonal Care: Weekly check-ins with photo logs, harvest support, and pest scouting; spring, midsummer, and fall “boost” visits.
-
Trellising, Pruning & Vertical Gardens: Crop-smart trellising and pruning for airflow, light, and yield; space-savvy vertical systems for decks/balconies/patios.
-
Education & Tools: Talks and workshops, plus e-guides and a curated shop aligned with pollinator-safe, peat-conserving practices.
Note: I do not take on soil remediation projects or conventional landscaping installs.
